I want to learn where you are in the development of your writing skills. The questions below determine what you can write about:
- How do you write? That is, how do you get started and work toward your final product?
- What are your strengths as a writer?
- What are your greatest challenges when you write?
- On what kinds of occasions do you need and seek feedback on your writing? (Who do you turn to: parent, teacher, friend, sibling, tutor?) What kind of feedback do you find most helpful? What kind of feedback do you find unhelpful?
- How many languages do you speak and what are they? Are languages other than English spoken in your home?
- What aspect of your writing (or writing process) do you most want to improve in this class? How do you expect this class can help you in this journey?
